Very convenient arragement Jun 2015 • Couples Prior to travelling to Haiti, we had booked a 3-day tour consisting of accommodation, road and air transport, guided tours in Port-au-Price and La Citadelle. Everything worked out nicely, reason for which we would book again through Voyage Lumière in case of another stay on Haiti. Professional, multi-lingual, SAFE Driver any time in Port au Prince May 2015 • Business I am very happy to have found driver and car service in Port au Prince with such professionalism. Cars: a brand new, beautiful van seating 15+ people for the same price as an SUV. SUV: very good, well maintained, comfortable, with good shocks (necessary for PAP's roads) Drivers: very professional. Acted as translator, guide, assistance, and chauffeur. I am a photojournalist, who frequently invites contacts and clients to ride with me.
You will need to go back to the drawing board Oct 2015 • Solo I am afraid I was thoroughly disappointed with in the main the customer service provided by Voyages Lumiere and more specifically Jacqui. I contacted the company several times via e-mail to arrange a tour to the Citadelle and to Port-au-Prince, she only provided the price for the former tour of $210, which was extraordinarily expensive given the fact that I was in fact based in Cap-Haitien itself and, failed to provide a quote for Port-au-Prince. The last contact I had with her was when she stated that she had an appointment now and will get back to me, well she never did. Very poor service indeed by this company and I certainly would not recommend this company to anyone. Voyages Lumiere you need to go back to the drawing board and learn about what it means in practice to provide truly exceptional customer service to all. Worth the expense Sep 2015 • Couples What can I say? Jacqui was most accommodating, arranging for what we wanted even though that wasn't a listed package. She even managed to arrange a driver, guide/translator same day for an evening excursion. Both of our guides, Serge and Michel were informative, bargaining for us with vendors, taking time to explain and answer our questions. Great transportation in Haiti Aug 2015 • Friends I took a group of 8 into the country and the VL team delivered. Much better price than the nonsense van company that my previous hotel set me up with. Jacqui and her team were efficient and punctual from the airport to the several stops I had to make along the way. The drivers that were sent for us were great at helping us through out the whole trip. I'll definitely share their contact with my friends and family visiting Haiti! 2:30 pickup, we we're 30 mins late due to a late hotel airport pickup. Understood - we should eat those 30 mins. Tour started at 3p - at 4:30 the tour was deemed "over. " When we said something, the tour guide said it was a 3 hour tour (which it wasn't even that). When I spoke with the VL team, they gave an excuse about there sometimes being traffic, so they need to bake in buffer time. Bottom line, they did not even remotely furnish the service that was agreed to and I then had the audacity to say that they "didn't appreciate what I was saying. " Note to VL team - you provide a really useful service and you could have the lock on touring Haiti. You should be able to clean up. However, put your customers first and deliver on your promises - you may just see more business come your way.
